Before we consider any fabric, we do what we call the “touch test.” Our team literally spends time touching, draping, and wearing sample fabrics. If it doesn’t feel good against the skin, it doesn’t make the cut – no matter how pretty it looks!
Step 2: Movement Check
Next, we check how the fabric moves. Does it flow nicely? Does it hold its shape? Does it wrinkle too easily? We want fabrics that look good while you’re living your life, not just when you’re standing still.
Step 3: Durability Testing
We wash test every fabric multiple times before approving it. This shows us:
- If colors fade quickly
- If the fabric pills or becomes rough
- How it handles drying
- If it shrinks more than expected
Step 4: Comfort in All Seasons
We consider how the fabric performs in different temperatures. Will it be too hot in summer? Too cold in winter? The best fabrics adapt to your body temperature and feel good year-round.
