Atletico Madrid travel to London for their Champions League clash on Tuesday in desperate need of points to boost a final attempt to break into the Group C top 2, having retained consistency and lifted their team spirits since mid-November. They’ve had a troubled start of the campaign but we now expect a very strong challenge at Stamford Bridge, as many home fans are thankful their side has already secured a top 2 spot.

However, with a busy schedule, it’s fair to say they have less to play for and winning here doesn’t have to come at all cost.
Blues will be a very tough nut to crack nonetheless and Antonio Conte will be well-aware of the importance of keeping their consistency despite lack of high stakes. Atletico will have to come into the match with an attacking approach and this promises a very exciting contest between two top sides on the day.
